v4.0.0

SmartSearch is now a reasoning assistant, not just a filter. Ask a full question in plain English — with the markets, audiences, budgets, and places you care about — and it plans the work, runs it step by step, and comes back with a grounded, mappable answer you can build a plan from.

Intelligence Updates

  • 🧠 Multi-step reasoning: Ask a compound question and SmartSearch breaks it into steps, runs each one, and returns a single grounded answer. One search can now be re-ranked for as many objectives as you have — "top 10 by impressions and the best 5 for families" no longer means running it twice.
  • 💾 Memory & history: SmartSearch remembers your preferences across conversations and applies them automatically — just tell it what to keep ("Add to memory...").
  • 🔍 Searchable history: Search your entire chat history — not just session titles, but everything said inside them, by you or the agent.
  • 📌 Every result is saved: Tables, charts, scorecards, unit dossiers — each answer SmartSearch produces is kept as its own result you can revisit anytime, across every session. Results are fixed once created, so what you saw is exactly what you'll find when you come back to it.
  • 🛣️ Route, area & place targeting: Trace inventory along an actual driven route ("along I-85 through Midtown," road-facing only) or anchor on any address, intersection, or venue — with multiple anchors in one search.
  • 📈 Unit deep dives: Pull a full per-board dossier — every audience segment with composition and index at market, national, and ZIP benchmarks side by side, top viewer-origin locations, hour-by-hour and day-by-day traffic rhythm, pricing, and the full description. Built for selling a specific face.
  • 🔀 Combine & compare: Merge multiple searches into one de-duplicated set ("near coffee shops OR near gyms") with every unit traceable to the search that found it, or compare two sets or scenarios side by side.
  • 🗺️ Live maps from chat: Results plot as color-coded, toggleable layers — inventory, POIs, anchors, and route corridors.
  • 📊 Charts on demand: Turn any result set into a bar, line, pie, area, or scatter chart inline.
  • 🏗️ Guided plan building: From a prompt or an uploaded brief, SmartSearch proposes a full sequence — create the plan, create a snapshot, add the inventory, run the scenario — that you confirm once and it runs end to end, with live per-step progress. It also checks real-time availability and pricing (if integrated).
Note: Scenario runs are computed by the platform and open in the Plans & Scenarios tab.
  • 🖱️ Actionable buttons: SmartSearch surfaces tappable buttons right in the conversation — confirm a proposed action (create a plan, run a scenario), pull more detail on a result, or answer a clarifying question with a tap instead of typing.
  • 💡 Budget & mix optimization: Ask for "the best $500K plan with at least 30% digital that doesn't cluster units" and a constrained optimizer balances cost against value under your rules — and explains the trade-offs it made.
  • 🔍 Selling workflows: Start from a board to find who to pitch, or from a business to find its best boards. Each returns two labeled lists — what's physically near (Proximity) and what matches by audience (Audience, ranked) — with recommendations tuned to whether the customer is local, national, or an event.
  • 🎯 Automatic audience-index calibration: SmartSearch calibrates "over-indexing" against each market's own distribution, so "highly indexing" resolves to a real top-quartile or top-decile cutoff for that market and that audience rather than a fixed number. Every result states the threshold or median it used, so the "why these boards" is always tied to the market it was measured in.

Try it Out

  • Find billboards near upscale grocery stores in Phoenix and Chicago that over-index for affluent shoppers — top 10 by impressions and top 5 by audience, then summarize the set.
  • Billboards along I-85 through Midtown, road-facing only.
  • Best $500K plan with at least 30% digital, no clustered units — show me the trade-offs.
  • Remember that our primary markets are Chicago and NYC and I prefer digital units.
