v5.0.0
Attribution
Attribution has been rebuilt from the ground up. A new measurement engine now powers every study, producing a far richer picture of campaign impact — who visited, who they are, where they spend their time, and how they converted. On top of it sits a redesigned dashboard with AI-powered insights, new comparison metrics, and reports you can shape to fit your story.
Measurement & Metrics
- 📦 New Measurement Engine: All studies created going forward, and those that are currently active, run on our upgraded measurement pipeline — the same trusted exposed-vs-control approach, now able to produce a much richer set of results: audience segments, demographics, daytime and evening locations, and more to come!
- 🔍 New and Improved Methodology: The full methodology — how exposure is measured, how control groups are built, how confidence is calculated — is documented step by step in the app and in every report.
Attribution Study
- 🧠 Attribution Intelligence: Chat with your study! Every attribution study now includes a built-in AI assistant alongside your dashboard — ask questions about your results in plain English ("Which audience segment performed best?") and get answers grounded in your study's data. Each study keeps its own conversation history so you can pick up where you left off.
- 💡 Key Takeaways: Every study now starts with an auto-generated summary of the most important results—what worked, where it worked, and who it resonated with—so you can get the story at a glance without digging through charts. You can also use the built-in AI assistant to refine those headline findings and generate a custom insight.
Dashboard & Reporting Updates
- 🎯 KPI Cards: New cards at the top of every study surface your most important numbers front and center.
- 🧰 Customizable Dashboard: Drag and drop dashboard sections to match your preferred flow, toggle written summaries on/off, and omit any sections you don’t want included in the PDF—so your exported report is tailored to your audience.
- 📸 Better PDF Reports: PDF exports are better than ever—reports generate faster and handle larger studies smoothly, so sharing results is quick and hassle-free.
Audience & Visitor Insights
- 🏷️ Audience Data at Study Creation: Audience data segments will be included by default going forward! Opt out/in for audience measurement with a single checkbox when creating a study, and the new audience sections will be waiting when your results arrive.
- 📊 Audience Profile: See your top 20 audience segments two ways — the segments most likely to visit after seeing your campaign, and the segments most aligned with who your campaign actually targeted.
- 👥 Demographic Profile: Breaks down the demographics of exposed visitors across easy-to-read charts, with a summary of what stands out.
- 📍 Daytime & Evening Locations: New sections show common day and evening locations of exposed individuals — valuable context for planning future placements.
Historical Maps
Historical Maps v2 rebuilds the map from the exposure data up. Hexagons now reflect where exposures actually happened, with seven measures, five levels of detail, and full control over how the data is colored and scaled — plus new postal code shading and audience composition layers.
Exposure Hexagons
Controls are available in the audience tab.
- 🗺️ Exposure-Based Density: Hexagons render directly from device ping locations, so they appear wherever exposures occurred — including off-road.
Note: Hexagons start switched off. Turn them on from the layer controls. - 🔍 Five Detail Levels: Move between market view (Res 7, ~1.2km) and street view (Res 11, ~25m) with no reload. Auto follows your zoom, or pin a level and stay there.
- 📊 Seven Measures: Map impressions, reach, frequency, vehicle passes, meters driven, in-market share, or out-of-market share.
Note: Reach and frequency are calculated per area, so they won't tie back to the UFI panel. - 🎨 Color Controls: Choose gradient or binned coloring, log or linear scaling, and your palette. Log is the default, since exposure typically spans about three orders of magnitude within a single market.
- 📈 Matched 3D Height: Hexagon height follows the same log/linear scale as color, so the two always tell the same story.
- 💡 Hover Detail: Hover any hexagon to see the selected measure—as well as audience composition numbers, if selected.
Map Layers
- 📍 Postal Code Shading: Postal code areas shade by whichever measure you've selected, visible at zoom 9 and above.
- 🧠 Audience Composition: Lifestyle and demographic segments, available across state, market, and postal code bands.
Note: Available on v2 maps only. - 📸 Legend in Exports: The legend describes whichever layer is on top and is included in the screenshot export.
- ⛰️ 3D Terrain: Toggle terrain on to see inventory in its physical context.
- 🏷️ Persistent Neighborhood Labels: Keep neighborhood labels visible as you zoom out.
Universal Updates
- 📦 Existing Maps Preserved: Maps generated before this release render exactly as they always have — same layers, same numbers.
